Wednesday Check-in

How are you doing? - For me, when I have made it to Wednesday and am still focused on a good eating plan for the week, and am still writing down my menu each day, the chances of completing the week strong have greatly improved.  When I start out strong I generally finish that way too.

It is when I can't quite get off the starting block with a clean break that I have to struggle all week long.  This week I recognized that fact and dealt with it head on.  I sat down and wrote out each day - sometimes only a day ahead - but I do have a plan this week.  I am not flying by the seat of my pants.

Another thing I have done differently is that I am already planning for next Monday's weigh in and meeting.  I have declined a Monday morning meeting and am keeping firmly committed to my Weight Watchers time slot.  I find this is a tool that I need in my life.  It is important that I prioritize each day; beginning with a quiet time: my devotional and journal and Bible in hand.  My menu is next - that's how important it is to me.

Scripture encouragement for today is from 2 Corinthians 10:5 "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."
