Give Yourself Grace - Changing habits isn't easy. Cultivating new ways of eating and menu planning won't become second nature overnight. Remember too, if we set our goals too high or start out with unrealistic expectations it will be a long journey. Things to remember:
- Cut yourself a lot of slack
- Fill each day with lots of Grace
- Give permission once in a while to enjoy a dessert
- Map out a special treat on special occasions
I have heard it said that it takes 16 weeks to exchange a bad habit for a good one. Never give up, keep turning to God for wisdom and perseverance - moving forward one day at a time.
Scripture Encouragement for today is from Psalms 63:5 (NIV) "
My soul will be satisfied as with the richest of foods; with singing lips my mouth will praise you."
