This plan is a spiritual plan as well as a physical plan. Here are the things I include in my daily planner.
- A time alone with God. This may be as simple as ten minutes of prayer and writing in my journal or as involved as a two hour retreat with my Bible and a close friend.
 - An exercise routine. Daily walking is good not only for my waist but for my mind as well. I must find a way to exercise everyday and for me, walking is perfect.
 - Prepare a Menu - For me, I not only need to journal the food I eat - before that I need to prepare a menu for the day. This menu is one that I will simply check off as I complete a meal or snack. This means that when I am hungry I don't have to make any "smart" food choices - I only have to follow my menu plan for the day.
