Watch the Road - I was just thinking about my plan for this week and I suddenly realized that I don't have one! At first I thought, oh...oh, but then the more I thought about it, the more I realized this is how I tend to go through life. I have a dream, but never a plan to help me accomplish this dream.
A plan is like a map, and I would never take a trip without one, so why would I attempt to break this food stronghold without a map in hand. This map will make me aware of the road ahead; it will highlight possible detours and bumps in the road as well as give me a birds eye view of the journey ahead of me.
I have been down this road before, but I have never traveled it with others. This time is different because I have you to trek with. We can discuss which way to turn and make the decision together. We can stop and ask for directions when we need to. I like to bring my Bible on trips like this because it serves as a great tour guide. Turning to the Bible when I approach a washed out bridge enables me to find an alternate route.
So, want to make this trip with me? Share you experiences traveling; tell us about any forks in the road (pardon the pun) that have tripped you up.
Scripture encouragement for today is from Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
Grace 'n Grins,
Judy
