Plan A - Don't you just love it when everything you prepared so fastidiously for, comes together just like you had hoped and prayed? I do to, but that seldom happens in my world. I always seem to need Plan B waiting in the wings to rescue me or pull me out of a tight spot.
Plan B is actually the one generally used because life never goes just exactly like I had envisioned it. This concept applies to every area of my life, from my professional life to my personal relationships, plan B gets me where I need to be.
For example, my plan for doing a Bible Study or having that quiet time I so desperately need doesn't take place, or the errands that I have meticulously listed on my To Do List are not able to be checked off. The menu for today, this week, never seems to come together in a timely way. But, I am OK with all of this now because I have Plan B in my pocket.
A thought for today: God does not have plan B - we are His Plan A and he is sticking with it. Thankfully, God does allows us to have an alternate arrangement. It is called Grace. Actually it should be Plan G - but I digress.
Scripture encouragement for today is from Psalm 20:4 "May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed."
