Tuesday - Thanksgiving week

Do you have a plan?--One thing to remember is Thanksgiving is only one day out of 365 days.  I say this because no matter what happens this Thursday, you still have 364 more days until next Thanksgiving.  If you find that this is the most difficult day to control your relationship with food, just do the best you can.

Here are a few things to remember or to practice when you gather with your family and friends
  1. It is not about the food, it is about the family sharing around the food
  2. Don't talk with your mouth full - but talk often (get it?)
  3. Enjoy everything about this special day and that includes the food
  4. Offer your thanks to the One who provides for us each and every day
Scripture encouragement for today is from Psalms 61:3 "For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe."
