Exercise - There, I've done it!  I have written the word Exercise.  Now exercise could have a number of meanings.  Exercise could be construed to mean practice or put into effect.  This certainly can be applied to our struggle with food strongholds.  As I am getting my heart right with God and transforming my life I am also renovating my relationship with food. 
But, to be faithful to all that I have been learning on this journey, exercise in the physical sense is very important too.  And it is not just because of the obvious, the activity it brings into our daily routine.  Not just because it gets us up off the couch, there are so many benefits of exercise.  Walking is my choice - and when I am walking I am breathing in fresh air, I am observing nature, I am clearing my mind, I am processing my day, I am praying and praising and...on and on this list can go.
What about you?  Is exercise something to be avoided at all costs?  Why not try it by just taking a short walk around the block?  You don't have to run or speed walk, just walk and enjoy while breathing in and breathing out.  More about exercise tomorrow.  But for today just try this first step.
Scripture encouragement for today is from Isaiah 58:11 "The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame.  You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail."
